"We had 3 adults and 1 child and stayed 2 nights at the River View Escape. The location is superb. 1 min drive to the Wairoa River reserve, 5 mins drive to Bethlehem shopping center and 15 mins drive to Mount Maunganui. The atmosphere is so relaxing with beautiful river view. Monica has presented the guest house elegantly with everything we needed. The beds and sheets were so nice and comfortable! Definitely recommended! We would love to come back again in the future"

"An amazing stay in a very comfortable and well-appointed space that had everything needed for a relaxing break. The unit is quiet and private, with comfy indoor and outdoor living spaces and a well equipped kitchen and amazing bathroom - the shower pressure is fantastic, a big plus for me. Handy parking and easy access to some great dining options, including a wonderful cafe 5 minutes down the road. Great hosts and hospitality - 10/10 recommend to anyone visiting Tauranga and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

"Everything was perfect, dual air-conditioning meant the place was cosy and warm even on the coldest of winter nights, host has gone above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was tidy and spotless, interior presentation was both modern and comforting and the views outside from the bedroom are one of a kind, would recommend to anyone wanting to visit this area! wish we could have stayed longer if not for work :P"
